SINGAPORE – From 28 October 2026, BBCIncorp Pte. Ltd. introduces tax invoices for applicable Singapore services, in line with Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) invoicing requirements.
All newly generated Tax Invoices will be archived within the BBCI Client Portal, providing clients with immediate access for internal bookkeeping, financial audits, and GST compliance reporting.
While no immediate action is required for most accounts, clients are advised to review and verify their company name, registered address, and Unique Entity Number (UEN) in the portal to ensure accurate invoice generation.
Why this matters now
Singapore continues to raise the bar on accurate digital tax compliance, with IRAS phasing in the InvoiceNow requirement for GST-registered businesses. For international founders, compliant billing records are now a baseline expectation. Introducing official Tax Invoices is our next step towards corporate services that are simple, focused and tech-driven.
What is changing
From 28 October 2026, applicable Singapore services provided by BBCIncorp Pte. Ltd. will be supported by a Tax Invoice issued under its GST registration in line with IRAS requirements. Invoices issued before this date remain valid and need no action.
GST and Tax Invoices: the essentials
- GST rate: Singapore charges GST at 9% on standard-rated supplies of goods and services.
- What a tax invoice is: the main document supporting a GST-registered business’s input tax claim.
- Who receives one: A tax invoice is issued to clients when they purchase taxable supplies from a GST-registered business.
- GST-inclusive pricing: GST-registered businesses must display and quote GST-inclusive prices. As a GST-registered business, BBCIncorp shows the final price upfront.
- GST InvoiceNow implementation: As required by Singapore authorities, GST-registered businesses must transmit invoice data directly to IRAS using InvoiceNow. The requirement applies in two initial phases – starting 1 November 2025 and 1 April 2026 – and will extend to all remaining GST-registered businesses in phases from 2028 to 2031.
What this means for you
Clarity you can rely on. One official, consistent invoice for each applicable service means no guesswork when you reconcile payments or review costs.
Records ready when you need them. Tax Invoices are the documents your accountant, auditor and finance team rely on. If your company is GST-registered, they also support your input tax claims, subject to IRAS conditions.
Anytime access. View your Tax Invoices in the Client Portal, without digging through email threads.
