The opening panel, titled “Innovation and Sustainability: The Twin Engines Driving ASEAN’s Growth,” highlighted insights from industry leaders in Hong Kong and Malaysia about the key factors fueling ASEAN’s dynamic development. These discussions provided diverse perspectives for businesses and policymakers on fostering growth within the region.
Following this, Mr. Frederick Chin, Director of Wholesale Banking and Markets at UOB Bank (Singapore), and Mr. Kevin Huang, Operations Director of SCMP, engaged in a conversation about ASEAN’s potential as the world’s economic dark horse. They discussed strategies for businesses to diversify investments and seize new growth opportunities in the region.
In the final session, representatives from companies such as BW Industrial, Carrier, Coca-Cola, DHL Express, and Schneider Electric shared their experiences and insights, addressing how to leverage ASEAN’s strengths for sustainable business growth while managing supply chains amid global uncertainty.
